Midterm Reflection

During the midterm period, I learned about important topics in information security. The CIA Triad taught me about the key principles of confidentiality, integrity, and availability. I also discovered the different classifications of information and the principles of data privacy. Understanding passwords and access control showed me how identity verification, authorization, and accountability are crucial. Cryptography introduced me to various techniques, including symmetric-key and asymmetric-key cryptography, as well as hashing functions.

Participating in the COT Days event was also an exciting experience with fun competitions and great talks. Overall, the midterm period expanded my knowledge in information security and other topics in general, and I'm looking forward to more learning opportunities in the future.
